My passion for maps began when I was a geology student and was challenged to use maps to infer and derive new information, information that was never contained in the original. Maps became a sandbox for ideas, a tool of interpretation, an image of knowledge. They are one of the densest stores of information accesible to us humans. They can also be beautiful. It is a rare thing to behold something so aesthetic and intriguing yet scientific, geometric, and rich in information.
Whether you have need of a map designer, spatial analyst, GIS technician or are looking for an imaginative person to create entirely unique cartographic and woodburned art, please feel free to reach out and chat with me about your project.
